WANTED.... E Bike hire assistant in Mooball
Come join the team at Beyond Byron E Bikes and assist in giving people a great experience on the Northern Rivers Rail Trail and our self-guided ebike tours.
We need someone to work 3-4 days a week (including weekends) to help in hiring out E Bikes at our location in Mooball, next to the roadhouse.
Most importantly you need to be outgoing and engaging with clients and have some knowledge of bikes and riding (you don’t need to be a mechanic, though that would be great). Pay is from $30/hr.
Job involves
- Some booking and Waiver management - all online
- Welcoming and setting up clients on e bikes,
- Briefing them on the bikes and the routes,
- Receiving bikes back after hire
- Washing ebikes and charging batteries,
- Minor bike maintenance.
Ideally you would
- Have experience in tourism or a similar customer facing business
- An interest in bikes and e bikes and basic mechanical knowledge of bikes
- Live local (ish) to Mooball (Pottsville, Burringbar, Ocean shores, Billinudgel, etc) not essential but makes things easier.
- Have your own vehicle (ideally with a towbar so you could carry a bike rack if required)
- Be flexible on working weekends and holidays (when we are busiest)
- Reliable, presentable and honest.

- Beyond Byron E Bikes is a fully accredited Eco Tourism Business dedicated to assisting people to engage with nature and explore the Tweed/Byron hinterland on E Bikes.
- The majority of our business is now hiring e bikes on the Northern Rivers Rail Trail from our location at the South end of the trail at Mooball.
- We pride ourselves on providing friendly service and excellent bikes (German made FOCUS & KALKHOFF ebikes and top notch equipment)
