There is nothing else like the Tern OROX!. Tern Orox S12 is a versatile cargo e-bike designed for both urban utility and outdoor adventure. With its 29-inch wheels, it's perfect for city rides and off-road trails. It can carry up to 210kg on paved roads and 180kg off-road, depending on the accessories you use. Easily configured to carry adults and children on the back up to 100kg in total.

Available for test rides on the Northern Rivers Rail Trail.

Powerful Bosch Motor and Dual Battery Ready

The Orox S12 is equipped with a powerful Bosch CX motor and comes with a Kiox 300 display with LED remote for easy control. It includes a 725Wh battery with dual battery capability up to 1,450WH, allowing for extra-long rides.

Heavy-Duty 12-Speed Drivetrain

The bike's Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain ensures smooth and quick gear changes, giving the Orox its "S12" name. It also features Magura MT5 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors for strong, responsive braking. The 29-inch wheels are paired with 2.6-inch wide Schwalbe Johnny Watts tires, and you can switch to a 27.5-inch wheelset with balloon tires if preferred.

Fully Equipped for Commuting and Touring

The Orox S12 comes ready for commuting and long-distance travel, complete with mudguards, a 700-lumen Ignis headlight with high/low beam and brake light, a sturdy Atlas kickstand, and a rear rack rated to carry up to 100kg. The frame and fork have multiple mounting points to increase carrying capacity with the right racks. For example, the front Trail Rack holds up to 25kg, while the rear Stow Decks can support 35kg on each side.
